After School Climbing
Urban Ascent Youth Climbing Club (and Team option)
Come and climb recreationaly (or competitively) this Fall/Winter with Urban Ascent!
The season will start the week of November 1 (can join anytime throughout the year)
Ages: 8 – 19
Two options:
1) Climbing club – unlimited members. Club is meant to be more recreational and fun orientated (you may progress to team). It does not require USA climbing membership or traveling to climbing competitions (optional). Coaching is included (Kylie Mossell and Lindsi Lake are the club coaches). Club practice meets 1 or 2 days/week with coaches.
2) Climbing team – limited to 18 slots, requires USA climbing membership and competing in at least two regional competitions outside of Boise (see USACLIMBING). Coaching by Taylor Strowd.
Team meets two times per week.
Club/Team practice days:
Club meets up to two days per week; Tuesday/Thursday from 6:00PM to 7:30PM (you can come 1 or both days)
Team meets two days a week: Monday and Wednesday from 6:00PM – 7:30PM
Cost:
Club is $20/month for 1 day/week, $30/month for 2 day/week
Team is $45/month (2 practices per week)
Requires youth membership at Urban Ascent ($29/month – initiation $35)
